A Reliable Clinical Research Partner in Birmingham

Birmingham Clinical Research partners with pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology companies, contract research organizations, medical-device companies, and diagnostic companies to conduct high-quality clinical trials in a community-based setting.

Led by Nova Law, M.D., Principal Investigator and board-certified family physician, our site combines experienced medical oversight with access to a large and diverse patient population. Our established patient and community database includes more than 5,000 potential participants, with substantial representation from Black and African American, Hispanic, Indian, and Asian communities.

Strong Participant Retention

Birmingham Clinical Research has a strong record of participant engagement and retention, including long-term clinical trials. Our participants value the personalized attention, consistent communication, and continuity of care provided by our research team.

Some participants who have relocated outside Alabama have specifically requested to remain enrolled at our site rather than transfer to a research location closer to their new residence. When permitted by the study protocol and practical for the participant, our team works diligently to support continued participation and minimize missed visits.

This level of loyalty reflects the trust our participants place in our investigators and research staff. We maintain long-term engagement through regular follow-up, appointment reminders, flexible scheduling, responsive communication, and patient-centered research experience.
